Coping with Loss

A Learn @ your Library Booklist for children and their families

The loss of a loved one causes great pain and often results in a series of traumatic changes. A child faces these painful adjustments with little or no experience, which frequently causes overwhelming feelings of fear and aloneness. While written for specific ages, the following books may offer comfort to everyone involved.

Be assured that these titles and others on family issues are available at Cranston libraries and through the Rhode Island Library system.
