For the month of February, the Central Library will host Occupied Circles: An Art Exhibit by Michelle Lee in the Meeting Room. As the owner and lead designer for Michelle Lee Designs in Johnston, Rhode Island, Michelle has worked on interior design projects for commercial and residential clients across the country. She graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and started her interior design company in 2004. Her playful use of color and texture is seen both in her design work and in her paintings. Michelle has explored various styles of painting ranging from mixed media, acrylics, chalk paint, pastels and collaging; and has also been featured in many galleries throughout Rhode Island.
An opening reception will be held Sunday, February 4 from 1:30-4 PM and will be free and open to the public.
