Those in grades 9-12 are invited to join the Rhode Island Teen Book Award (RITBA) Breakfast Club @ Central. It offers teens the opportunity to earn community service for participating in monthly discussions (from September to January) of books nominated for the RITBA as they enjoy light breakfast fare. The club meets one Saturday a month at 11 AM at the Central Library. You can receive one hour of community service for each book you read and discuss. In January, members of the group will vote for their favorite book. Registration is required for the book club. Please stop by the Teen Desk or call 943-9080 x121 to register, or for more information.
