Summer Reading 2019

June 15 - August 10, 2019

Summer Reading Kick-off

Summer reading starts with a special program at the William Hall Library on Saturday, June 15, from 1-4 PM. Drop in anytime during the 3-hour event to:

  • Test your skills at our astronaut training camp.
  • Take a photo for your official astronaut ID.
  • Go on a moonwalk in the bounce house.
  • Learn all about this year's summer reading program.
  • Get a Mission Log and start your summer reading adventure.

Mission Logs

Attend the kick-off or visit any Cranston Public library after June 15 to sign-up for the summer reading challenge and get your Mission Log.

Go on a reading mission and write or draw "samples" or "observations" from the things you read for 5 days. Then return the Mission Log to the library to get a small prize and start another mission.

Every time you submit a Mission Log, you will also be entered in the grand prize raffle. The last day to submit Mission Logs is Aug 9.
