The Cranston Public Library Meeting rooms are available to civic, cultural and educational organizations during library hours of operation, provided that no admission fee is charged and the meetings are open to the public. Meeting rooms are not available for social gatherings, the benefit of private individuals, commercial purposes or fund- raising purposes. Meeting rooms should not be used in any way that interferes with the operation of the library or which threatens the safety of library patrons. Private individuals may not book the rooms. Any non-profit group requesting the use of the Cranston Public Library, Central, Meeting Room must have an application on file before booking a date. The application will go to the Director for approval. The Central Library Meeting Room is not booked on weekends or during the months of June, July and August. Any approved group is limited to booking once per quarter. We ask that groups plan to end their program by 7:45 pm when the library is open evenings.
