2026 Library Card Design Contest

Enter our contest and your artwork could be featured on a limited edition Cranston Public Library card!

Beginning June 25, you can pick up an entry form at any Cranston Public Library location or join us for an open studio. 

Entry deadline is July 31.

Age categories: 16+, 9-15, 8 and under.

Contest Rules and Guidelines: 

• Open to all Cranston residents.
• Artwork must be original, not published elsewhere, and free of any copyright restrictions.
• One winner in each category will be selected. Categories are: 16+, 9-15, 8 and under.
• Artwork will be judged by a panel of CPL staff.
• The Cranston Public Library reserves the right to reproduce your work.
• The entire entry packet (two pages: Release Form and Entry Form & Design Template) must be completed in order to be eligible to win.
• Submissions may be in any art medium (pencil, pen, paint, crayon, digital art, etc) Digital submissions may be printed out or emailed to ataft@cranstonlibrary.org. You may use a different type of paper to create your artwork (watercolor paper, card stock, etc.) as long as the design fits the library card dimensions.
• Entry deadline is 5:00PM, July 31, 2026. No late submissions will be accepted.
• CPL staff and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
• Only one submission per person. Do not include your name in the artwork.
