Ocean State Libraries Policy Statement

Background
The Cranston Public Library (hereinafter “the Library”)¹ is a member of the Ocean State Libraries (OSL) consortium. Membership in OSL is required under the Minimum Standards and Regulations for Public Libraries.

Policy
The Library shall comply with all OSL policies and procedures as a condition of membership. When appropriate, the Library may adopt an OSL policy as its official policy in lieu of developing a local policy.
