Download eBooks and audiobooks directly to your devices for free with your library card using the following resources:

Access a digital library of thousands of eBooks and Audiobook titles to borrow.

• Borrow up to 8 titles at one time. Most titles can be downloaded onto your device. No overdue fees. Titles will automatically expire after the lending period or you can request them again.
• Register for an Overdrive account by visiting http://riezone.overdrive.com (opens in a new tab) or by using the Libby mobile app on your iOS (opens in a new tab) / Android (opens in a new tab) mobile devices. You will need to provide your library card number and library card security PIN.

Hoopla Digital (link opens in a new tab)

Borrow and enjoy hundreds of audiobooks, eBooks, comics, and magazines everywhere you have a screen-your computer, your phone, and your car. Hoopla syncs across all your devices, so you can access titles immediately.

• Borrow up to 5 instant titles each month. Most titles can be downloaded onto your device.
• No overdue fees. Titles will automatically expire after the lending period.
• Register for a hoopla account by visiting www.hoopladigital.com (opens in a new tab) or by using the Hoopla mobile app on your iOS (opens in a new tab) / Android (opens in a new tab) mobile devices. You will need to provide an email address, create a password, and have your library card information ready.

Flipster Magazines(opens in a new tab)

Flipster is an easy, browseable digital magazine library that makes it easy for you to read your favorite magazines on your computer or mobile device.

• Access recent issues, as well as a carousel of all back issues.
• Magazines cannot be downloaded, but printing is permitted.
• Available on computers and iOS (opens in a new tab) / Android(opens in a new tab) devices with the Flipster mobile app. 
  NOTE: Search for "AskRI" as the library name.

Palace Project (opens in a new tab)

Palace Project is a new open-source digital library platform made available by Ocean State Libraries and RI Office of Library and Information Services (OLIS). It combines the content already in the eZone with additional content that OSL has purchased independently like Audible audiobooks, graphic novels, and more.

• To try, download the Palace mobile app on your iOS (opens in a new tab) / Android (opens in a new tab) mobile device. (Unavailable for Kindle users at this time.) You will need to provide your library card number and library card security PIN. If you use the Libby app, you should see your existing loans and holds.
• Borrow up to 8 titles at one time. No overdue fees. Titles will automatically expire after the lending period.
• Palace is not a replacement for the Libby app, but we invite you to explore and borrow all its additional content.
