The scans were produced with full Optical Character Recognition (OCR) which will allow for keyword searching for specific names, topics, etc. Other advanced searching options are also available. The archive is available with this direct link: http://cranston.advantage-preservation.com/ or by visiting https://cranstonlibrary.org/databases/all and scrolling to Cranston Public Library digital archive.

"We hope this freely accessible archive will be of special interest for local history and genealogical research and be a tool for exploring the rich history of Cranston", said Library Director Edward Garcia.

This digital archive was created in partnership with Advantage Preservation and was funded by a grant from the Champlin Foundation.
