(CRANSTON, RI) -  Roger Williams University and Cranston Public Library announce a FREE Prep for Success series of three workshops to help teens and adult learners with the college admissions process. These events will be held at James T. Giles Community Room at Central Library (140 Sockanosset Cross Road, Cranston RI). Learn from college admissions officers about the steps necessary to search for and apply to dream colleges. This college admissions workshop will assist with the why, what, and how to apply to colleges as a high school student or as an adult learner. This workshop will be co-presented by Pam Pereira, Assistant Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management, and Raksmey Pen, Career Specialist, both from Roger Williams University. Whether someone is heading back to school after years in the workforce, or parents and teens are investigating post-secondary education options, this program will answer a lot of questions,” states Zach Berger, Cranston Public Library. “Libraries are all about lifelong learning, so this collaboration is a natural fit.”

The next two sessions on March 2 and 30 will explore additional topics like career choices and financial aid. Further details about the next two sessions in the Prep for Success series will become available soon.

Participants can attend any or all workshops, but must register for which workshops they plan to attend by calling the Central Library Reference Desk at 401-943-9080 x3 or sending an email to central@cranstonlibrary.org
