Expressionist local artist Barbara Rosenbaum exhibit for January 2019

 (CRANSTON, RI) -  The Cranston Public Library announces upcoming art exhibit by local artist Barbara Rosenbaum in the James T. Giles Community Room exhibit space at Central Library for January 2019. Ms. Rosenbaum’s expressionistic paintings and drawings are rich in vibrant color, movement and shape. An opening reception of this exhibit and the opportunity to meet the artist will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 PM and is open to the public. Central Library is located at 140 Sockanossett Cross Road, Cranston, RI. 

“My paintings and drawings are my interpretations of what I see and feel when I am creating them,” states Ms. Rosenbaum. “In this show I have tried to represent different types of paintings and drawings.” She creates still life artworks in her studio, landscape paintings outdoors, and abstract paintings from her imagination. Exhibit hours for the exhibit are during Central Library’s open hours and is free and open to the public.
